This biannual ski/snowboard zine with a pathological reverence for snow, Snowflake was both homey and uncomfortable, foul-mouthed and good-hearted. Snowflake included contributions by a virtual Whos Who in the L.A. art scene, interviews with lift operators, weathermen, and international ski stars, and super-rigorous poetic and literary texts. Includes contributions by such artists and writers as Georganne Deen, Amy Gerstler, Martin Kersels, Paul McCarthy, Jennifer Pastor, Lane Relyea, Jim Shaw, Lynne Tillman, and Megan Williams. Edited by Lisa Anne Auerbach and Benjamin Weissman.
