EATS is a social history in blazing neon and logoed restaurant china, attesting to the eccentricity and artistry of the American applied arts. It chronicles restaurant china‰۪s coming of age in the heyday of American highways, depicting a stunning array of lively plates, cups, bowls, mugs, butter pats, creamers, as well as a 1936 Massachusetts train car diner and neon signs from every corner of the country. This is the third of three seminal exhibits at Track 16 Gallery exploring the crossroads of art and Americana. Artists include: Roy Lichtenstein, Claes Oldenburg, Cindy Sherman, Keith Haring, Burt Payne 3, Till Goodan, Don Blanding and Rockwell Kent. Essay by Tom Patchett.
